Scott Rotary Seals Has Acquired Blakeslee Technologies, Inc.
Scott Rotary Seals (SRS) today announced an agreement to acquire Blakeslee Technologies of Olean, NY.
Acquisition sets major milestone in expanding SRS leadership in rotary timing valve technology.
The leadership of both parties approved the transaction, which completed late in the second quarter of 2007.
Blakeslee Technologies operations will be merged with existing operations at Scott Rotary Seals in Hinsdale, NY.
"We are very excited about this acquisition, which allows us to bring the experience and of two world-renowned rotary timing valve (RTV) manufacturers together and move forward in the development of next-generation RTV technology," said Crystal Wiech, General Manager of Scott Rotary Seals.
"Blakeslee Technologies products complement our present offering and will position us to become the largest provider of RTV products world-wide."
